The US Navy has awarded a contract to CACI International to provide technical services to support the fleet assistance and shipboard training (FAST) programme.

Under the $190m contract, CACI will provide a wide range of support for afloat and deployable automated supply management programmes and services for the navy and marine corps.

The company will provide its expertise, tools and performance monitoring to meet the operational, technical and programmatic needs to support navy’s ships, battle groups and aircraft in maintaining optimum readiness at all times.

CACI also supports the design, prototyping, and evaluation of new logistics applications and concepts.

The initial value of the five-year contract is $31m, but it could reach $190m if all options are exercised.

Work will be carried out at various US Navy and Marine Corps facilities in the US, overseas, and on board naval vessels.
