The MK 125 warhead-equipped SM-2 and SM-6 missile systems provide the navy’s fleet with long-range protection from aerial threats and ensures the ability of the fleet to safely launch force projections as per the defence requirement.
Manufacturing work will be carried out at Aerojet’s modern, low-cost, load assembly and pack facility in Camden, Arkansas.
Aerojet will begin deliveries in 2010.
