The Israeli Navy has received the first phase of the Dolphin Submarine Tactical Trainer project from DSIT Solutions.

In June 2007, The Israeli Navy awarded a contract to DSIT for the simulation of all sonar and weapons systems, sensors, and command and control systems on board the submarine.

DSIT sales and marketing vice president Dan Ben-Dov said the combat simulator integrates advanced sonar and acoustic projects including the supply of a mobile acoustic range, sonar simulators, the Hull Mounted Sonar (HMS) system and more.

DSIT CEO Benny Sela said the project represents state-of-the-art sonar and acoustic simulation and training technology.

Work on the second and final phase for the Dolphin project is currently in progress and is expected to be complete in ten months.
