Pakistan and Malaysia to Hold Joint Naval Exercise

The Pakistani Navy plans to hold a joint naval exercise including joint / passage exercises with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN). The Pakistani naval vessels PNS Moawin, a Netherlands-made ship currently in service with the navy's active unit of the 9th AUXIM Squadron, and the PNS Khaiba

The Pakistani Navy plans to hold a joint naval exercise including joint / passage exercises with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).

The Pakistani naval vessels PNS Moawin, a Netherlands-made ship currently in service with the navy's active unit of the 9th AUXIM Squadron, and the PNS Khaibar will participate in the joint naval exercise with RMN.

PNS Moawin is capable of replenishing task groups at sea and is equipped with onboard seeking helicopters.

The PNS Khaibar Type-21 'Amazon' class frigate was acquired from the UK Royal Navy with upgraded weapons and sensors and can undergo a wide range of naval operations covering the entire spectrum of naval warfare.
