The US Navy has received the final aircraft carrier-capable T-45C Goshawk jet aircraft from Boeing.

The final T-45C to be used by the navy is a two-seat, single-engine aircraft that features two multifunction displays in each cockpit which provide navigation, weapon delivery, aircraft performance and communication data.

The Goshawk is a jet training aircraft with advanced flight and instrument simulators, computer-assisted instructional programmes and a computerised training integration system.

The recent delivery is the 221st T-45 training jet delivered to the navy by Boeing. It should serve the navy through to 2035.
