The amphibious warfare vessel INS Shardul and the Indian Coastguard offshore patrol vessel INS Varuna will join the already deployed Talwar Class guided missile frigate in the Gulf of Aden for anti-piracy patrols.
The two ships have been deployed to the Seychelles and Mauritius for training purposes and are expected to remain in the region for some time to execute anti-piracy missions.
