During the six-week period, all the operational units of Pakistan Navy including ships, submarines, aircraft, Special Services Group and Pakistan Marines will participate in the wargame exercise.
The exercise is aimed at assessing the operational readiness of Pakistan Navy and to provide an opportunity for personnel to operate under a multi-threat environment and practise responses accordingly.
Seaspark 2009 will be divided into four main phases including Preparatory, Mobilisation, War and Analysis. The Mobilisation Phase includes activation of forward operating bases, dispersal sites and command and control centres.
