The US Navy has awarded a contract to business intelligence solutions provider Irus Group to implement IBM Cognos TM1, a complete business analytics management application, at all Navy locations.

Under the contract, Irus will implement the software, which is used for Navy budgeting, planning, and fiscal scenario development.

IBM Cognos TM1 deploys easier financial and business teams across the naval facility and automates key financial processes, from planning, budgeting and forecasting to consolidation, reporting and analytics.

The software integrates all business rules, data and metadata and shares across the applications providing self-sufficiency and data security for users.

IBM Cognos TM1 supports a wide range of business requirements from simple static reporting to real time dynamic enterprise analytics and helps to make better business decisions.
