The US Navy has awarded a $20.19m contract to construction services company Archer-Western Contractors for design and construction of a combined maintenance and supply department facility for its aircraft at the army installation Fort Dix in New Jersey.

The facility is expected to be complete by February 2011.

The contract has been awarded by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia.
