The Egyptian Navy has awarded a $32.8m contract to the engineering and development services company VSE Corporation to provide engineering and training assistance for all the naval vessels.

Under the contract, the company will provide support for the Egyptian Navy’s ships transferred from the US Navy, docked Egyptian naval vessels and also vessels at sea.

In addition, the company will provide engineering, technical training and logistics support among other services for the Egyptian Navy’s foreign military sales programmes and other requirements.

The work will be carried out in Alexandria, Egypt.
