The manufacture and installation of a security and safety alarm system (SSAS) for the US Navy TAGM missile range craft is now being supported by deep water solutions provider Deep Down.

The SSAS is intended to enhance maritime security for the Navy’s TAGM-25 missile range instrumentation ship and to prevent piracy and terrorism acts against shipping.

The company will provide design support, engineering and manufacturing of the SSAS through a newly formed partnership with the marine automation systems manufacturer Amnor Technologies.

The coordinated effort of Deep Down and Amnor towards the implementation of SSAS is a part of phase II of the TAGM-25 missile range instrumentation ship contract awarded to the shipbuilding company VT Halter Marine by the US Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command.
