The Singaporean Navy has awarded a S$20m contract to Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering to provide training services and a ship for navigation and seamanship training.

Under the three-year integrated training workforce (ITWF) contract, instructors from ST Electronics, a subsidiary of ST Engineering, will cover topics like spanning warfare, navigation, weaponry, communications, underwater systems, electronics, damage control and power generation.

Naval officers, officer cadets and all levels of warrant officers, specialists and full-time National Servicemen will be trained under the programme.
