AAR has received a contract from Military Sealift Command (MSC) to provide airlift support for US Navy ships.

Under the vertical replenishment (VERTREP) contract, the company will renew four helicopters, personnel, and operational and technical support services.

The $77m contract has a one-year initial base period, three one-year options and an additional 11-month option.

Currently, the company supports the US Navy operation in the Western Pacific, Indian Oceans and the Arabian Gulf.
