DCNS and Terma have developed a new anti-torpedo decoy system, which can defend all kinds of vessels against torpedo attack.

The system can fire DCNS CANTO-V anti-torpedo decoys using the Terma 130mm soft-kill weapon system (SKWS).

The decoy will be placed in the water to mislead the torpedo when used alongside vessel evasive manoeuvres proposal.

The system was revealed at the recently concluded Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) 2011 exhibition.
