Under the partnership, the L-3 MAPPS integrated platform management system (IPMS) will be integrated with OSL’s ECPINS navigation and integrated bridge system (IBS) to equip the new navy ships with the ISMS solution under the Canadian National Ship Procurement Strategy (NSPS).
The ISMS solution, which will offer commonality with the current in the fleet, is expected to improve the operational capabilities of new navy vessels.
OSI Geospatial CEO Ken Kirkpatrick said, “OSL has evolved its ECPINS warship navigation system to a full-fledged naval integrated bridge system and we are pleased to join forces with L-3 MAPPS to combine its leading IPMS with our IBS to offer a synergistic solution that will deliver outstanding performance.”
