Sotera Defense Solutions has been selected by the US Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to support its cyber security and C4ISR programmes.

The mission-critical technology-based systems provider was awarded over $15m, which includes new task orders under existing contracts.

The company will provide secure engineering support for SPAWAR’s Navy Medicine Enterprise Information Assurance and Network Engineering Program as well as Integrated RF Communications Systems in support of its US Central Command (CENTCOM) mission.

The task orders also include information assurance services to the US Navy’s TacMobile programme, security technical testing and certification support for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
