The AME Unmanned Air Systems (AME UAS) team has been awarded a follow-on contract by the US Navy for the joint interoperable target control system (JITCS).

The contract has a three-year period of performance and enables continued development of standard target control system interfaces for the common interface target control system (CITCS).

The JITCS, with an open architecture approach, will directly support the target control steering group (TCSG) initiative to promote interoperability of target control systems across all services and target platforms.

The CITCS allows a single ground system with a JITCS standard interface (JITCSSI) to control single or multiple naval targets.
