The navy has already issued a request for information for the same and has sought responses from global vendors.
The 44,500t Russian-built Admiral Gorshkov is due to induct by the end of next year, with the 40,000t indigenous aircraft carrier scheduled for induction by 2014.
The MiG 29K fighter jets have begun to be inducted as part of the Admiral Gorshkov deal, while the naval version of the light combat aircraft (LCA) is expected to be ready for trials soon, according to Press Trust of India.
