USS Ashland has been designed to conduct amphibious operations through transporting, launching and supporting assault landing craft, marines and combat cargo to designated areas throughout the world.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facility in Norfolk, Virginia, US, and is expected to be complete by 25 January 2012.
