The delivery follows the successful completion of the installation and site acceptance tests of the MPAS, performed by AgustaWestland.
The RNLN MPAS is based on Agusta’s proven Skyflight planning system, which is a multihelicopter flight and mission planning solution.
The system will be used to support the RNLN’s operations and training activities and provides enhanced situation awareness, flight and mission planning functionality, and a complete aircraft data upload / download capability.
The system will be fully operational by the end of 2012.
