Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has been awarded a contract to continue its engineering and technical support services with the US Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

The $126m contract has a one-year base performance period with four option years and has been awarded under the Seaport-e contract.

The company will continue to provide support for weapons development, logistics, engineering, test and analysis, and programme management for US Navy, US Marine Corps, and joint weapons and munitions programmes.

The Kratos team will work with the engagement systems department of NSWCDD in support of research and development analyses, which is not limited to only lethality and effectiveness analyses.
