ManTech Systems has been awarded a modification contract by the US Navy to exercise an option for the procurement of warfare analysis and software upgrade services.

Under the $17.5m contract, the company will provide modelling and simulation, software development and analytic programme support for the Naval Air Systems Command’s warfare analysis and integration department.

Work will be carried out at the company’s facilities in Maryland, US, and is expected to be complete in March 2012.

The US Naval Air Warfare Center aircraft division will be the contracting activity.
