Boeing has been awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus incentive contract for maintenance, repair and rebuilding in support of navigation equipment of Trident II (D5).
The $31m contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total contract value to $64.1m.
The Trident II D-5 is a three-stage, solid-propellant, inertially guided US Navy fleet ballistic missile.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facilities in Huntington Beach, California and Heath, Ohio, US, and is expected to be completed by 30 September 2014.
