The US Marine Corps Systems Command has awarded three delivery order modifications to General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada for upgrade kits.

Under the $41.4m contract, the company will supply upgrade kits for the previously delivered RG-31 vehicles under the mine-resistant ambush-pProtected (MRAP) vehicle programme.

The kits will enhance survivability and operation of the vehicles to the latest production configuration.

Deliveries are expected to be completed by January 2012.
