Under the $200m contract, Alion will support the acquisition, production and delivery of combat systems that include the Aegis weapon system and the ship self defence system.
The company will also provide support for the development and integration of combat systems for a variety of ship classes including aircraft carriers, DDG 1000, amphibious littoral combatant ships and coastguard ships.
The delivery order has been awarded under the US NAVSEA SeaPort Enhanced contract, with a period of performance until 18 February 2016.
