The King Air 350 Avengers will replace the vintage Jetstream trainers that have served for more than 30 years at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose.
The Jetstream is a fixed wing aircraft, powered by twin gas turbine engines with spare passenger capacity and is used to train observers of the Fleet Air Arm.
The 750 Naval Air Squadron commanding officer Lieutenant Commander Nick Armstrong said, “as the variety of tasks we have to achieve continues to grow, the King Air 350 ER Avenger will allow us to do exactly that.”
