The modified contract allows the procurement of 132 vertical launch system (VLS) and 64 capsule launch system (CLS) missiles.
The Tomahawk block IV missile is capable of launch from surface ships equipped with VLS and from submarines equipped with CLS, as well as with the torpedo tube launch system.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facilities in various locations throughout the US and is expected to be completed in July 2013.
The US Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
