July 2022 has seen an increase of 3.49% in the overall hiring activity when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 16.26% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in July 2022, registering a decrease of 3.34% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 42.86% in July 2022, a flat growth over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 28.57% in July 2022, marking a 20% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Research Scientists with a share of 14.29% in July 2022, a 66.67% drop from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average flat growth in the overall IT recruitment activity of South & Central America’s aerospace, defence & security industry during July 2022 over previous month.
Thales posted 9 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by CAE with 2 jobs and a flat growth. General Dynamics with 2 IT jobs and Northrop Grumman with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while recorded a flat growth with job postings during July 2022.
