The company filed 56 future of work-related patents in the quarter, compared with 55 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Boeing with 26 future of work patent filings, Airbus (20 filings), and General Electric (18 filings) in Q3 2023.

Patenting activity was driven by the US with a 27% share of total patent filings

The largest share of future of work related patent filings in the aerospace, defence & security industry in Q3 2023 was in the US with 27%, followed by China (26%) and Japan (8%). The share represented by the US was 4% lower than the 31% share it accounted for in Q2 2023.
