Applications for all ship classes

Hatteland Technology delivers applications that are suitable for all classes of vessels.

We supply automation and power management, battle damage control (BDCS), and C4i – Combat Management, Command and Control (C4I) systems. Propulsion, engine and thruster control, ship-helicopter operations, switchgears, and NVIS are also included in the company portfolio.

Our navigation solutions include integrated bridge systems (IBS), ECDIS and radar. We provide support for diving and remotely operated vehicles (ROV) operations, dynamic positioning, and conning. Integrated platform management systems, CTV applications, and general alarm and control solutions are also included in Hatteland Technology’s portfolio.

ECDIS colour calibration capabilities

ECDIS represents one of the most rigorous naval industry display technologies. Display colour calibration is an important aspect of the application, due to the potentially costly consequences of making an error in recognition on the display. Therefore, it is important that the colour characteristics specified on ECDIS monitors match the relevant standards.

Computers and displays provided by Hatteland Technology include an overall ECDIS-approved installation. With extensive experience and technical knowledge, we deliver high-quality, type-approved ECDIS displays that fulfil International Maritime Organisation (IMO) requirements.

Optical bonding solutions

Optical bonding can significantly enhance naval viewing monitors’ reliability, performance, and lifespan.

Hatteland Technology’s in-house Optical Technology division is dedicated to the art of liquid crystal display (LCD) optical bonding. Our engineers have extensive experience in this field, allowing us to provide proprietary added value as well as ensure the quality and integrity of monitor products and technology.

Type approval and testing capabilities

We ensure our marine displays, computers and panel computers are fit for adverse environments present during sea missions with type approval from major marine classification societies. These include MIL-STD-461E/G, MIL-STD-810F and MIL-S-901D, as well as Grade A/B and Class 1 hard mounted.

We also use DO160F, Extended IEC 60945, TEMPEST SDIP-27 Level B (on selected models) and EU-RO-MR (Recognised Organisation Mutual Recognition) (Covers ABS – BV – DNV – GL – NK – LRS).
