Scandinavian Micro Systems announce the availability of a CD version of their ScanDisplay presentation on CD format that can be viewed on any computer. Maritime personnel who are interested in receiving more information on digital information systems on board all types of ships and floating hotels, can view a basic ScanDisplay® presentation without the concerns of setting up an internet connection or not having enough bandwidth to view the presentation smoothly.
This CD presentation is both ‘looping’ and with limited ‘interactivity’; meaning you can either let the presentation automatically start and finish or you can arbitrarily select certain key areas with a click of a mouse.
ScanDisplay® is available from a small basic system, CruiseMonitor™ to a full feature, custom design IP-TV, iScanDisplay® system with ‘on demand’ entertainment selections.
CruiseMonitor™ is a looping TV channel that provides real time information on the current voyage including;
- Reports from the bridge
- Our itinerary (map tracking)
- View from the bridge
- Time
The VoyageChannel™ has all the CruiseMonitor features plus points of interest and ports of call. Both CruiseMonitor and VoyageChannel can be designed with interactive plasma touch screens in public areas.
