It all started with the ScanFaker Radar Display Stimulation Board

Developed in the New Mexican desert and refined and industrialised back home in Bergen, the ScanFaker Radar Display Stimulation Board was the product that allowed us to start dspnor.

Back in 2002 we successfully demonstrated the ScanFaker Product for a major player in the Naval Simulation Industry, resulting in a contract large enough for us to start dspnor.

A couple of years later it became the de facto industry standard display interface for use in large Bridge Simulators. We will be celebrating our achievements together with suppliers and customers later this year – when the winter finally loosens its grip.

The image shows the early prototypes sided with today’s product.
