SAES has received a contract from FMV for the supply of five relay and sonobuoy processing systems to be integrated and installed into the Visby Class corvettes. The system receives data provided by HKP-15 helicopters, whose transmission and processing system was also supplied by SAES in 2007. The system will also receive the acoustic data from sonobuoys launched from the ship itself. The information received is processed on board for the detection and analysis of possible submarine contacts.

The SDL-SS system also includes a ship-ship link as well as Satcom communication capabilities.
