Marine Fenders International (MFI) has announced that it recently acquired all the assets of Urethane Technology (UTI), a leading manufacturer of speciality buoys and marine fenders.
MFI CEO Jerry Thermos said that he was pleased to conclude the transaction as UTI’s technology will further enhance MFI’s mission to remain one of the leading worldwide designers and manufacturers of foam-filled marine fenders and buoys.
MFI has been a longstanding worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of foam-filled fenders. Prior to founding MFI, CEO Jerry Thermos pioneered the design of modern-day foam-filled fenders and was recognised expert in the industry since the early 1990s.
MFI is on the shortlist of nearly every governmental entity, military entity and general contractors who build facilities requiring foam-filled fenders and buoys.
