Garbarino won a prestigious order in the naval market for a total value of €5m: six littoral combat ships (LCS) with Boustead Naval Shipyard for the Royal Malaysian Navy.

Garbarino, already on-board several ships of the Royal Malaysian Navy (four corvettes and four minehunters built in Italy at the beginning of the 1980s) has been selected by the Malaysian shipyard located in Lumut (west coast of Malaysia) for the following scope of supply: pumps and drinking water system, associated accessories and fittings, related services for design and engineering, all related tests and trials and integrated logistics support package.

The deliveries will be from February 2016 to July 2020.

Garbarino supplies twenty-six navies in Europe, Asia and South America, thanks to its long experience in the naval sector and its capability in satisfying the tough military rules.
