Gabler Naval specialises in providing international navies with innovative reliable submarine mast systems and key components, which enable submarines to safely perform high-value manoeuvres.
We use standard modules, as well as completely individualised systems to meet customer requirements.
We have been supplying navies and shipyards around the world with our state-of-the-art mast systems for over 60 years. Our range of products meets the highest military standards and can be integrated into every conventional and nuclear submarine base.
Gabler is an expert in the development and production of submarine mast systems. As opposed to the mast, limited to the lowering and lifting mechanism of a sensor, a mast system comprises a hydraulic control block, a hoistable mast control and a sensor.
We ensure that our customers can purchase a complete mast system from one source, which optimises the customer supply chain and reduces costs.
Our submarine masts provide sound-optimised movement in all drive positions, flexible hoisting height, high resistance to environmental conditions and a concept that saves space and weight. They are made of composites and lightweight materials and are shock and sea-wash-tested. Our masts do not require provision or sensor integration and are ready to use upon delivery.
The hoistable mast is the basis for every mast or mast system. Hoistable masts usually include four main modules, namely the guide shaft, guide piece, drive and profiled mast. Due to the specific requirements of navies worldwide, Gabler provides both standardised and modular device platforms and custom solutions for submarine platforms.
Gabler hoistable masts act as platforms for optronic, radar, ESM, communication and satcom masts, and periscopes. The sensors, antennas and effectors can be combined on combination masts as required by the mission profiles.
Gabler develops and manufactures system-relevant key components for submarine platforms. Due to our expertise in the design of electro-mechanic submarine components, we can also refine existing parts or create completely new components.
Gabler is a preferred lifecycle support provider for shipyards, arsenals and navies around the world. We perform regular maintenance tasks, according to the manual as part of the service agreement.
We also offer rapidly available repair services for mast systems and components in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality. If required, we offer a fast spare part delivery service around the world via phone, webshop or vendor managed inventory (VMI).
We at Gabler, regard ourselves the preferred life cycle partner for shipyards, arsenals and navies.
