Thales Australia, in partnership with Sonartech Atlas and L3 Oceania, will modernise sonar systems fitted to the Type 471 submarines under the contract.

DCNS has received a contract from the French Navy Fleet Support Department to provide through-life support for the French Navy’s Le Triomphant-class ballistic missile submarines through 2025.

The contractual work includes maintenance of four Le Triomphant-class submarines based in the city of Brest.

IAP Worldwide Services has secured a $30.38m-worth contract modification to perform base operations support work at the US Navy’s Naval Support Activity Annapolis installation through November next year.

CACI International has been contracted by the US Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to provide support services for the Department of Defense’s Defense Travel System.

Valued at $26m, the contract is scheduled to be completed in mid-2020.

Indra, a business consulting and technology company, has formed a partnership with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) for the development and integration of F110 frigate’s sensors.

The partnership enables UPM and Indra to design and develop identification friend or foe system, X-band radar, and radar electronic support measures (RESM) system for the Spanish Navy's F110 frigate.

The contract is scheduled to be completed in 2019.
