The anti-submarine warfare ships were delivered to the Norwegian Navy between 2006 and 2011. They were built to replace Oslo Class vessels.

The vessels are HNoMS Fridtjof Nansen (F 310), Roald Amundsen (F 311), Otto Sverdrup (F 312), Helge Ingstad (F 313) and Thor Heyerdahl (F 314).

Following the delivery of the frigates, the Norwegian Logistics Agency for Defense (NDLO) and the company signed a Follow on Technical Support (FOTS) in 2013.

This FOTS agreement was aimed to support the life cycle of the frigates. It involved offering certain maintenance and through life services support on the frigates.
