Misener Marine Construction, a subsidiary of Orion Marine, has received the contract from the US Navy.
Under the project, the company will install about 900lft of steel sheet pile bulkhead and concrete encapsulation cap.
It will also remove and replace electrical building as well as 6,000yd² of uplands asphalt pavement.
The construction of the project will begin in the third quarter of 2009 and end after one year.
