The company’s command and control systems and software (C2S2) division has received a five-year follow on contract to provide engineering and information services to manage the structural life of the navy’s fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
L-3 C2S2 president John Medea said that the programme supports the navy’s objective to implement an aggressive service life management plan to optimise its aircraft inventory.
“The company’s engineering services have contributed to the success of the navy’s structural appraisal of fatigue effects (SAFE) programme,” said Medea.
