The Sri Lankan Navy is preparing to purchase six Israeli Super Dvora patrol boats to prevent smuggling between India and Sri Lanka.

The 86ft-high speed-class of patrol boats can operate in 4ft of water for landing or picking up commandos.

The boats can patrol for 12 hours, but can ride out for longer if required.
