Under the contract, Selex will supply naval Janus turrets, which will be fitted on navy patrol boats undertaking illegal-immigration control missions in the Mediterranean.
Derived from the Janus sensor for land applications, the naval Janus provides greater day and night long-range detection, identification and mission recording services.
Selex will also supply a simplified human-machine interface console with display and controls for remote operation of the multisensor turret.
