Under the $49m contract, Integrator will support two operational assessments.
The first assessment will be to determine whether or not the early operational capability option can be exercised, resulting in the fielding of up to five systems in 2011.
The second assessment will support low-rate initial production of two systems one each for the US Navy and US Marine Corps and then move to full-rate production of up to 56 systems.
The company will conduct two years of engineering, manufacturing and development phase work at its work centre.
It will also build and test the Integrator UAS satisfying STUAS / tier II system requirements.
Initial operating capability is expected by the end of 2013.
