AT&T Mobility has been awarded an indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity multiple award task order contract, along with Sprint-Nextel, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless, to provide wireless service and devices to the US Navy.

The four contracts have a total combined value of $96m including the base period and one six-month option period.

The four contractors could also compete for task orders as per the terms and conditions of the contract.

Work will be performed in various continental US locations, and is expected to be complete by June 2012.

The US Fleet and Industrial Supply Center in San Diego, California, US, is the contracting activity.
