The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group (CSG), including USS Chancellorsville (CG 62), Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7 and USS Preble (DDG 88), will participate in the Foal Eagle military exercise with South Korea.
The CSG has arrived in the US 7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), which spans from the International Date Line to the Western Indian Ocean.
The group will also conduct exercises and port visits to enhance maritime partnerships, and promote peace and stability in the region.
The annual exercise began early last week involving 200,000 South Korean and 13,000 US troops.
