The company will provide repair, modernisation and support services for submarines, service aircraft, floating dry docks and additional base equipment.

The second $15.1m order involves advanced submarine research and development studies supporting survivability, hydrodynamics, acoustics, manufacturability, materials and maintainability.

The company will also perform research and development in logistics, performance, ship control, manning, hull integrity, weapons handling and safety.

The five-year contract, originally awarded last year, has a ceiling value of $711.4m, if all options are exercised and funded.
