BAE Systems has delivered the 150th OE-120 identification friend-or-foe (IFF) antenna to the US Navy, which has been designed to allow sailors to accurately identify friendly aircraft and vessels.

The antenna supports ship-board air traffic management systems for both IFF and secondary surveillance radars.

The OE-120 antenna is intended to support the Aegis Combat System and is the only electronically scanned IFF antenna currently in use with the US Navy.

The antenna accommodates all standard IFF modes for a wide range of mission requirements.

The IFF antenna is currently deployed on-board a wide range of navy vessels, ranging from frigates to aircraft carriers.
