SEA stated that the integration will enable uncrewed autonomous maritime surveillance and undersea detection capabilities.
The companies have collaborated for over ten years, and the current deal expands antisubmarine warfare (ASW), intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and maritime domain awareness capabilities on uncrewed platforms.
SEA managing director Richard Flitton said: “As global navies respond to rapidly expanding subsurface and autonomous threats, platforms like the Wave Glider equipped with KraitArray technology will offer a proven, highly scalable solution for persistent littoral surveillance.
“Our longstanding partnership with Liquid Robotics has been fundamental in shaping a capability that is ready to meet operational demands now and into the future.”

By GlobalDataKraitArray is designed with low size, weight, power requirements, and drag, providing passive acoustic detection in a compact and modular format for use on uncrewed platforms like the Wave Glider.
SEA has developed and updated KraitArray technology over a 15-year period. Its modular design is intended for uncrewed systems with the most recent version introduced four years ago to address the needs of long-endurance autonomous systems.
The company said that it is continuing to invest in product development, facilities, and manufacturing capacity to meet rising market demand for the technology.
Liquid Robotics business development head Jimmy Board said: “KraitArray’s high-performance passive detection allows us to expand autonomous ASW and ISR operations, delivering scalable and reliable undersea sensing solutions for the next generation of uncrewed maritime missions.”
