Science Applications International (SAIC) has won a $133m contract to provide mission engineering and integration services to the US Navy’s Maneuver, Engagement and Surveillance Systems Division.
As per the terms of the contract, SAIC will continue to provide engineering services, technical support, analysis and modelling, research, inventory and logistics, and quality assurance services to the division located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana.

These services will be provided in support of tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions at the system, subsystem and component levels.
Under the direction of the Naval Sea Systems Command, NSWC Crane provides acquisition engineering, in-service engineering, and technical support for sensors, electronics, electronic weapons, and special combat weapons.
The renewed prime contract has a one-year base period of performance, along with four one-year additional options.
The scope of the contract covers wide technological areas, which include command and control (C2) systems, tactical communications, mobility platforms, and persistent collection technologies.

Last month, SAIC won a $63.5m task order to provide mission engineering and integration services to the US Navy’s Global Deterrence and Defense Department (Code GX) at the NSWC.
