Parsons has secured a place on the $15bn Pacific Deterrence Initiative Multiple Award Construction Contract (PDI MACC) from the US Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).
The contract is set within the framework of the Pacific Deterrence Initiative, a US Department of War programme intended to strengthen deterrence, improve regional security and support defence infrastructure across the Indo-Pacific region.

The PDI MACC has a five-year base period with three one-year option periods. It seeks to accelerate the delivery of new facilities, repairs and upgrades in locations such as Australia, the Philippines and US territories.
Under this, Parsons will be able to bid for projects valued at above $100m, which may include design and engineering services for runways, hangars, waterfront facilities, warehousing and storage infrastructure, as well as energy and fuel storage solutions.
Parsons engineered systems president Jon Moretta stated: “We are proud to continue working with NAVFAC to deliver critical infrastructure that supports the Pacific Deterrence Initiative and reinforces America’s commitment to strengthening our nation’s Indo-Pacific deterrence strategy and modernising capabilities and assets.
“This project highlights our ability to manage large, complex initiatives in some of the most strategically vital locations, ensuring the readiness and resilience of US and allied forces. The PDI MACC represents more than infrastructure investment — it signifies a commitment to regional security and global stability in the future.”
